  My husband and I took classes with Marisa and Howard at Salsa Caliente in Greenwood www.salsacaliente.com/ we thought they were great! Also, I suggest picking up a pair of dance shoes it makes things so much easier when you slide like you're supposed to and it prevents injury. I twisted my knee on a spin because I was wearing the wrong shoes and I missed a couple of classes because of it. Might I recommend Experience www.salsapromotions.com/ they have a real live store and we've found the service to be wonderful. Let us know how everything goes for you!

    I have some dance shoes with cuban heels. I imagine those are appropriate?

      Those should work just fine. It's mostly the slip you're looking for. Have you found any classes that interest you yet?
